The Total Body Photography procedure
.
You are introduced to our photographer who will take you through what is involved in the procedure and give you the opportunity to ask questions. You will be able to undress privately before commencing the photographic procedure. Following the set of photos being taken you will be asked if you have moles that are of particular concern or in areas which would not be visible in the set views such as in the scalp, between fingers or toes or on the bottom of the feet. Additional or dermatoscopic images will be taken of those moles as required. The photography takes approximately fifteen to twenty minutes.

How to prepare for the procedure
.
There are no special preparations necessary for the Total Body Photography procedure. Please remember to:
• Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to remove and put back on.
• Wear underwear that covers as little skin area as practical and is a neutral or light in colour (grey or skin tone recommended).
• Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.

What you receive
.
Each patient receives A4 size prints and/or a CD of their images depending on the option they choose. The CD contains special software that allows you to zoom in on an area of skin to see if a mole has changed or if there is a new mole.

Medical Insurance Cover
.
Some Health Insurance Companies may cover the costs related to Total Body Photography. Please contact your Health Insurance Company to see if they cover Total Body Photography. We are happy to be of assistance as required.
